Agra
The pure white marble structure, Taj acquires different shades at different times of the day and with changing seasons. The soft pink color of the dawn and fiery shade that it acquires at dusk are all bewitching. Though, the light that presents it in the best possible manner is perhaps that of full moon, when it shines with pristine white and silver glory. Taj seems to be as fanciful as the love story it represents of an all-mighty prince and a simple girl hawking silk and glass beads in the market and their marriage that seems so much like a fairy tale. The faithful wife marched with the prince, who was later crowned the emperor, on his every expedition and bore him fourteen children. On her deathbed, she made the emperor to promise to make a lovely monument unlike any other in the world as the tribute to their loving moments that were a treasure for her. The emperor kept the promise faithfully and thus, Taj was conceived.Agra is also a popular destination amongst shoppers. The Mughal antecedents of this region reflect itself in some of the finest handicrafts that are available here. The most important being marble items inlaid with colored stones, similar to the pietra dura work on Taj Mahal. This apart, Agra is also famous for other variety of handicrafts including leather goods, jewellery, dhurrie (rug) weaving, brassware, carpets and embroidery work.

Indian Traffic and Indian Road Conditions
It is difficult to give a concise account of conditions in a country as vast as India and varying so widely in its physical road conditions. Some people will call it chaotic – in any case, Indian road scenario is a mixture of sound, spectacle and experience. You will hardly find Indian roads free of traffic. Congestion on roads is a normal phenomenon. In the big cities, you may also encounter frequent traffic jams. Nor can most road users guess what type of vehicle they will face – India has a variety of "modes of transport" including overloaded trucks and buses, scooters, pedestrians, cows, bullocks and camel carts, horse or elephant riders as well as cycle-rickshaws and free-roaming livestock.
